Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of The Morning Case (“the Service”), provided by The Morning Case Ltd, registered in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to register an account. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must read and accept these Terms on your behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the security of your credentials and for activity carried out under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, attempt to circumvent paywalls, or interfere with other detectives’ play.

3. Subscriptions and credits

Paid tiers (Inspector, Commissioner) renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; access remains until the end of the current period. Credits purchased separately are non-refundable except where required by UK consumer law.

4. Daily releases & early access

Cases are released daily at staggered London hours per tier. Paid early-access unlocks provide a one-hour-earlier opening of a single case and consume credits at point of purchase.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to share solutions publicly until 24 hours after a case’s release, not to scrape the Service, not to harass other users, and not to impersonate moderators or staff.

6. Intellectual property

Case files, illustrations, voice recordings, and the Service’s software are owned by The Morning Case Ltd. You receive a personal, non-commercial licence to play and to share screenshots that do not reveal solutions.

7. Liability

We provide the Service “as is” and exclude liability to the extent permitted by law. Our aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of London, England.
